Grant distributions must be a minimum of $100.00 and must be made to 501(c)(3) public charities in the United States as well as certain other qualified organizations. Grant distributions are accompanied by a letter that includes the Fund name and Fund Advisor(s) contact information listed above, unless otherwise specified in grant recommendation instructions. Full anonymity can be selected below.

For Joint CCFs, in the event of a divorce or separation, absent contrary direction agreed to by the fundholders, the fund balance will be divided equally between the fundholders and two separate funds will be created.

Any balance remaining in the fund after the death of all fund advisors will be distributed to the Fund for Louisville within the following twelve months unless otherwise designated in the Letter of Final Disposition, which provides instructions for what should happen when all Fund Advisors have passed away. Remember that for Joint CCFs, your spouse automatically remains a Fund Advisor after your death.
